This course is designed to give you a solid foundation in performing climbing related rescue techniques. On this one day course you will learn how to ascend and descend your rope with various techniques, conduct mid-rope load transfers, tie rescue knots and hitches, tie off and escape your belay, and remove hair pulled into a belay or rappel device. With this knowledge, many climbing accidents can be turned into minor inconveniences. These new skills will allow you to safely practice solo top rope climbing. We will go over how to use solo climbing devices and how to set-up your rope for solo climbing. The knowledge received on this course will give you confidence and peace of mind. [MAP]
